Accomplished designer and brand strategist, founded Grady Campbell in 1989. As the firm's Design Principal, Kerry sets the tone for the creative approach and the brand strategy work that Grady Campbell produces for our clients, always emphasizing the firm's commitment to helping our clients build their culture, their business, and their brand value. Kerry combines a strong design aesthetic with a deep understanding of business strategy. Well-known in the design profession, he is also a trusted advisor to business leaders and entrepreneurs. His experience spans all aspects of design and branding. Over his 33 year career, Kerry has created, refreshed and implemented successful brand programs for hundreds of clients. His work is recognized by some of the world's most prestigious design organizations including The American Institute of Graphics Arts, The American Center for Design and The United Kingdom Design Council. Kerry has served as Associate Professor of Design to The University of Illinois, The Art Institute of Chicago, and Northern Illinois University, and as a Board Member to a number of professional and philanthropic organizations.
Experienced leader in creating organizational brand alignment during periods of growth, change, and new direction, Juli is a versatile professional who delivers creative and pragmatic solutions that lead to game-changing results. Juli raises the bar on clear, intelligent communication in jargon-filled industries with extensive experience in functional and technical writing. She has earned our clients trust and support, leading the way in building sustainable brands for Pfingsten Partners, LaSalle Capital, and SE Capital. Before joining Grady Campbell, Juli was a Curriculum Developer for Cardean University, and a legal search professional with Jivaro Associates. Juli's law firm experience includes tax and employee benefit practice with Kirkland and Ellis. Juli holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Olivet Nazarene College and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law.
Strategist, designer, architect, analyst and IT specialist hybrid, Anthony brings unique complimentary skill sets and problem-solving expertise to every client engagement. Since joining Grady Campbell 15 years ago, he has applied his signature excellence to a wide range of projects, from websites and digital marketing platforms, to motion graphics, to sign systems and exhibits. In his more than 10 years in the interactive field, Anthony has worked with a diverse group of A-list companies, including Crescent Capital, Novum Structures, MB Financial Bank, Calamos Investments, GE Capital, and The University of Illinois at Chicago. Anthony is fluent in most advanced web technologies and digital applications. He moves seamlessly between both Apple and PC digital platforms. Anthony studied architecture, technology and design at the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Architecture Degree.
Designer Jiarong (Tina) Li's work style can be described as creative, organized, flexible, and detailed. Tina's accomplishments span across diverse fields that include branding, packaging and website design.
Tina has been in love with art and design since the day she picked up her first crayon. Constantly drawing, doodling, photographing and constructing things, she always knew that she wanted to pursue a creative career. Tina's work is fueled by her love for the dynamic, collaborative nature of the design process. She's a firm believer that the power of a strong concept, exceptionally well executed, can lead to significant, positive change.

Tina earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an emphasis in Visual Communication Design and is a SAIC Merit Scholarship Recipient.
Designers like Nathan are equally at home in print, online—or wherever the audience happens to be. A graduate of The University of Illinois, Chicago and a valued member of Grady Campbell’s design team, Nathan’s background includes all aspects of design, as well as photo, film and audio production. Nathan’s body of work includes brand development and corporate-wide visual brand guidelines. Nathan knows website, publication and packaging design from top to bottom, but his expertise extends to all areas of brand communication. Before joining Grady Campbell, Nathan honed his design skills at Health Smart International, a company that produces products that are not only functional; they combine leading-edge technology with contemporary design to ensure confidence in the daily lives of its customers. He is an enthusiastic and talented collaborator, working with many of our prestigious clients, including Crescent Capital Group, Focal Point Partners, MB Financial and The Danforth Center.
Lynn combines a keen understanding of how to forge connections between brands and consumers with hands-on experience in a range of marketing disciplines. Before joining Grady Campbell, she worked at Time Inc. (Travel + Leisure; Food & Wine). At Time Inc., she worked with high-profile brand advertisers to develop and execute campaigns including print, digital, event, and direct-to-consumer components. She has completed numerous successful advertising campaigns with clients such as American Express, LG Electronics, and Marriott. With more than 15 years of account management experience in media, law, and finance, she is an expert at delivering attentive client service and seamless project execution.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Johns Hopkins University and a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University, where she was Associate Editor of the Law Review. In addition to working for a major litigation firm, she worked at Goldman Sachs.
Lisa is an accomplished marketing leader and investment content specialist, who works with our financial services clients engage their audiences through targeted, useful content. Lisa knows first-hand the challenges faced by financial organizations to produce effective and compliant content. Her distinctive mix of strong financial acumen, leadership experience and writing talent uniquely positions her to help overcome these challenges.
Before joining Grady Campbell, Lisa worked for PPM America, a large asset manager headquartered in Chicago, where she lead the firm’s marketing and communications team. As one of PPMA's Managing Directors, she oversaw the firm's international marketing and internal communications programs, including its burgeoning content market strategy. LIsa joined PPMA in 2007 as a financial writer, and also helped with the firm's business development during her tenure. Prior to PPMA, Lisa worked for Bernstein Global Wealth Management in roles focused on helping financial advisors build their businesses, providing client service, and conducting wealth planning analysis.
Lisa earned a BA in economics from the University of Michigan, an MA in literature from Northwestern University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She received the Distinguished Thesis Award for her MA thesis from Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies. She also previously held the Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.

As a valued member of the Oprah Winfrey Show production team for 20 years, she helped develop and drive the show's brand and visual identity. Before joining Grady Campbell, Thalia wrote, designed, edited, and produced televised news promos and station image campaigns, worked with world-renowned entertainment personalities, scripted, directed, and produced story-based packages and show trailers, and crafted global brands. Her expertise includes film, advertising, collateral, award-winning book design, music direction, and retail display. With more than twenty years of insightful creative management, Thalia brings exceptional talent, skill and resourcefulness to every client engagement.
As Senior Designer, Sun creates high level creative concepts for a broad range of branding initiatives. She guides and directs cross-channel projects from design concept through to completion, oversees project production, photography and printing, and leads the creation of advertising campaigns and the production of print, web, and outdoor advertisement activities. Her commitment to hard work, continuous improvement, and client service are keys to her success. Before joining Grady Campbell, Sun honed her design skills at Sassi America - a Beauty supply packaging specialist, The Rare Method Advertising Agency, Canada, and Design 86, South Korea. Sun earned a Visual Communication Design bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, an Advertising Diploma from Loyalist College, Canada, and a Tourism Diploma from Kyung-gi University, South Korea.
Zee is a one-of-a-kind design and brand expert, who has helped extend Grady Campbell’s reach into the Middle East. Zee's dynamic personality, extraordinary flair for design, and obsession to detail sets her apart from other creative professionals. Zee values the importance of making connections and building long-term relationships; that’s why clients keep coming back for more. She takes a hands-on approach with all design-related activities and collaborates with the creative team and outside creative and production resources. Strategic planning, research, brand assessment, competitive analysis, brand positioning, and idea generation are well within her forte. Zee's experience living and working in India, London and Chicago, and now as a permanent resident of the UAE, brings an immense understanding of international culture and markets to the fore.
Bringing thirty years of “big firm” marketing experience to the table, Renee is a results-driven strategist and business developer whose approach to integrated marketing focuses on raising brand awareness and value, and driving profitable growth. Advising clients through times of change, Renee works with management teams to better position their companies for success, providing direction on strategy, planning and budgeting, and offering creative, practical solutions for improving processes, programs and activities. Counseling clients on a diverse range of marketing/BD, branding, reputation management and strategic communications challenges, she often serves as an outsourced Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. Prior to joining Grady Campbell, Renee held top marketing positions at the Illinois CPA Society and the law firms Lord, Bissell & Brook, and Lovells. Renee earned a Bachelors and Masters of Communications, Arts and Sciences in Journalism from Michigan State University.
