Lake Forest Open Lands is an independently funded conservation and education organization dedicated to preserving and stewarding local natural landscapes and ensuring that all generations are welcome and able to fully experience nature. Lake Forest Open Lands conserves land to address climate change, to protect clean air and water, and to help wildlife thrive along the shores of Lake Michigan.
Since its founding in 1967, Lake Forest Open Lands has acquired, preserved, restored, and maintained over 900 acres of highly diverse native landscapes for the benefit of the local community. In 2009, Lake Forest Open Lands became the very first Illinois land trust to be accredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, a mark of distinction in land conservation.
In collaboration with Lake Forest Open Lands leadership, Grady Campbell developed the organization’s brand identity and marketing communications program. In doing so, we helped to amplify the organization’s mission while supporting Lake Forest Open Lands events, fundraising efforts, volunteer opportunities, educational programs, and guided nature outings.
