Sam Butler is Director, PR Strategy for Grady Campbell, working with the firm’s diverse range of clients to develop and execute communications strategies that shape opinions, actions and outcomes. Over his 25-year career, he’s built media campaigns, corporate communications and thought leadership positioning programs and managed crisis and issues management communications for clients across a wide range of industries, including private equity, venture capital, investment and wealth management, law, accounting, management consulting, diversified holding companies and family-owned enterprises.

Sam has a degree in U.S.-Soviet Relations and Cold War Geopolitics from the University of California, Berkeley and a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Washington. In addition to Grady Campbell, Sam runs 35thAvenuePartners, a corporate affairs communications consultancy.
