You never know what might turn a clever individual into a household name. A best selling book certainly can’t hurt. Grady Campbell has a point of pride in Chef Art Smith.

Grady Campbell was the creative team behind Oprah Winfrey chef, Art Smith’s, first cookbook and other award-winning works in kitchens–and on coffee tables–everywhere. “Back To The Table—The Reunion of Food and Family,” (Hyperion) a unique cookbook of more than 150 recipes to feed and strengthen bonds between loved ones, was awarded the prestigious James Beard Award for Best Cook Book. It was a collaboration of design and project leadership–Grady Campbell, Chef Art Smith, Oprah Winfrey Show Art Director, Thalia Kalodimos, publishers, food and lifestyle photographers and printers, created a volume that resulted in multiple press runs, best selling status and blossoming TV and publishing celebrity for Art Smith (Top Chef Masters.)

Grady Campbell has also designed award-winning books for The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, to name a few.
